What a fabulous season it has been. I was humbled to meet so many of you this year at my speaking events and book signings. I have enjoyed watching and hearing stories about how this simple tradition is impacting families during Christmas. It is my hearts desire that this enterprise would help families bring Christ back into their families and homes. Speaking of purpose, it brings me great delight to announce that a portion of the 2016 Book Sale Proceeds went to Samaritans Purse. Many people know this organization for the Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes. The truth is that is just one part of what this organization does. As a wife, mom, and teacher, I wanted a way to make the story of Christ's birth the daily focus of the Christmas season. I began writing The Traveling Wise Men in 2012 while trying to establish my own Christmas traditions. Soon, The Traveling Wise Men became a whole family project. So much love and prayer went into it. I hope that it might be a tool for children to learn about the awe-inspiring true story of the miracle of Jesus Christ.
